In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.
The Hour (of Judgment) is nigh, and the moon is cleft asunder.
(Al-Qamar 54:1) | | Malay Translation | Add Note | BookmarkBut if they see a Sign, they turn away, and say, "This is (but) transient magic."
(Al-Qamar 54:2) | | Malay Translation | Add Note | BookmarkThey reject (the warning) and follow their (own) lusts but every matter has its appointed time.
(Al-Qamar 54:3) | | Malay Translation | Add Note | BookmarkThere have already come to them Recitals wherein there is (enough) to check (them),
(Al-Qamar 54:4) | | Malay Translation | Add Note | BookmarkMature wisdom;- but (the preaching of) Warners profits them not.
(Al-Qamar 54:5) | | Malay Translation | Add Note | BookmarkTherefore, (O Prophet,) turn away from them. The Day that the Caller will call (them) to a terrible affair,
(Al-Qamar 54:6) | | Malay Translation | Add Note | BookmarkThey will come forth,- their eyes humbled - from (their) graves, (torpid) like locusts scattered abroad,
(Al-Qamar 54:7) | | Malay Translation | Add Note | BookmarkHastening, with eyes transfixed, towards the Caller!- "Hard is this Day!", the Unbelievers will say.
(Al-Qamar 54:8) | | Malay Translation | Add Note | BookmarkBefore them the People of Noah rejected (their apostle): they rejected Our servant, and said, "Here is one possessed!", and he was driven out.
(Al-Qamar 54:9) | | Malay Translation | Add Note | BookmarkThen he called on his Lord: "I am one overcome: do Thou then help (me)!"
(Al-Qamar 54:10) | | Malay Translation | Add Note | BookmarkSo We opened the gates of heaven, with water pouring forth.
(Al-Qamar 54:11) | | Malay Translation | Add Note | BookmarkAnd We caused the earth to gush forth with springs, so the waters met (and rose) to the extent decreed.
(Al-Qamar 54:12) | | Malay Translation | Add Note | BookmarkBut We bore him on an (Ark) made of broad planks and caulked with palm- fibre:
(Al-Qamar 54:13) | | Malay Translation | Add Note | BookmarkShe floats under our eyes (and care): a recompense to one who had been rejected (with scorn)!
(Al-Qamar 54:14) | | Malay Translation | Add Note | BookmarkAnd We have left this as a Sign (for all time): then is there any that will receive admonition?
(Al-Qamar 54:15) | | Malay Translation | Add Note | BookmarkBut how (terrible) was My Penalty and My Warning?
(Al-Qamar 54:16) | | Malay Translation | Add Note | BookmarkAnd We have indeed made the Qur'an easy to understand and remember: then is there any that will receive admonition?
(Al-Qamar 54:17) | | Malay Translation | Add Note | BookmarkThe 'Ad (people) (too) rejected (Truth): then how terrible was My Penalty and My Warning?
(Al-Qamar 54:18) | | Malay Translation | Add Note | BookmarkFor We sent against them a furious wind, on a Day of violent Disaster,
(Al-Qamar 54:19) | | Malay Translation | Add Note | BookmarkPlucking out men as if they were roots of palm-trees torn up (from the ground).
(Al-Qamar 54:20) | | Malay Translation | Add Note | BookmarkYea, how (terrible) was My Penalty and My Warning!
(Al-Qamar 54:21) | | Malay Translation | Add Note | BookmarkBut We have indeed made the Qur'an easy to understand and remember: then is there any that will receive admonition?
(Al-Qamar 54:22) | | Malay Translation | Add Note | BookmarkThe Thamud (also) rejected (their) Warners.
(Al-Qamar 54:23) | | Malay Translation | Add Note | BookmarkFor they said: "What! a man! a Solitary one from among ourselves! shall we follow such a one? Truly should we then be straying in mind, and mad!
(Al-Qamar 54:24) | | Malay Translation | Add Note | Bookmark"Is it that the Message is sent to him, of all people amongst us? Nay, he is a liar, an insolent one!"
(Al-Qamar 54:25) | | Malay Translation | Add Note | BookmarkAh! they will know on the morrow, which is the liar, the insolent one!
(Al-Qamar 54:26) | | Malay Translation | Add Note | BookmarkFor We will send the she-camel by way of trial for them. So watch them, (O Salih), and possess thyself in patience!
(Al-Qamar 54:27) | | Malay Translation | Add Note | BookmarkAnd tell them that the water is to be divided between them: Each one's right to drink being brought forward (by suitable turns).
(Al-Qamar 54:28) | | Malay Translation | Add Note | BookmarkBut they called to their companion, and he took a sword in hand, and hamstrung (her).
(Al-Qamar 54:29) | | Malay Translation | Add Note | BookmarkAh! how (terrible) was My Penalty and My Warning!
(Al-Qamar 54:30) | | Malay Translation | Add Note | BookmarkFor We sent against them a single Mighty Blast, and they became like the dry stubble used by one who pens cattle.
(Al-Qamar 54:31) | | Malay Translation | Add Note | BookmarkAnd We have indeed made the Qur'an easy to understand and remember: then is there any that will receive admonition?
(Al-Qamar 54:32) | | Malay Translation | Add Note | BookmarkThe people of Lut rejected (his) warning.
(Al-Qamar 54:33) | | Malay Translation | Add Note | BookmarkWe sent against them a violent Tornado with showers of stones, (which destroyed them), except Lut's household: them We delivered by early Dawn,-
(Al-Qamar 54:34) | | Malay Translation | Add Note | BookmarkAs a Grace from Us: thus do We reward those who give thanks.
(Al-Qamar 54:35) | | Malay Translation | Add Note | BookmarkAnd (Lut) did warn them of Our Punishment, but they disputed about the Warning.
(Al-Qamar 54:36) | | Malay Translation | Add Note | BookmarkAnd they even sought to snatch away his guests from him, but We blinded their eyes. (They heard:) "Now taste ye My Wrath and My Warning."
(Al-Qamar 54:37) | | Malay Translation | Add Note | BookmarkEarly on the morrow an abiding Punishment seized them:
(Al-Qamar 54:38) | | Malay Translation | Add Note | Bookmark"So taste ye My Wrath and My Warning."
(Al-Qamar 54:39) | | Malay Translation | Add Note | BookmarkAnd We have indeed made the Qur'an easy to understand and remember: then is there any that will receive admonition?
(Al-Qamar 54:40) | | Malay Translation | Add Note | BookmarkTo the People of Pharaoh, too, aforetime, came Warners (from Allah..
(Al-Qamar 54:41) | | Malay Translation | Add Note | BookmarkThe (people) rejected all Our Signs; but We seized them with such Penalty (as comes) from One Exalted in Power, able to carry out His Will.
(Al-Qamar 54:42) | | Malay Translation | Add Note | BookmarkAre your Unbelievers, (O Quraish), better than they? Or have ye an immunity in the Sacred Books?
(Al-Qamar 54:43) | | Malay Translation | Add Note | BookmarkOr do they say: "We acting together can defend ourselves"?
(Al-Qamar 54:44) | | Malay Translation | Add Note | BookmarkSoon will their multitude be put to flight, and they will show their backs.
(Al-Qamar 54:45) | | Malay Translation | Add Note | BookmarkNay, the Hour (of Judgment) is the time promised them (for their full recompense): And that Hour will be most grievous and most bitter.
(Al-Qamar 54:46) | | Malay Translation | Add Note | BookmarkTruly those in sin are the ones straying in mind, and mad.
(Al-Qamar 54:47) | | Malay Translation | Add Note | BookmarkThe Day they will be dragged through the Fire on their faces, (they will hear:) "Taste ye the touch of Hell!"
(Al-Qamar 54:48) | | Malay Translation | Add Note | BookmarkVerily, all things have We created in proportion and measure.
(Al-Qamar 54:49) | | Malay Translation | Add Note | BookmarkAnd Our Command is but a single (Act),- like the twinkling of an eye.
(Al-Qamar 54:50) | | Malay Translation | Add Note | BookmarkAnd (oft) in the past, have We destroyed gangs like unto you: then is there any that will receive admonition?
(Al-Qamar 54:51) | | Malay Translation | Add Note | BookmarkAll that they do is noted in (their) Books (of Deeds):
(Al-Qamar 54:52) | | Malay Translation | Add Note | BookmarkEvery matter, small and great, is on record.
(Al-Qamar 54:53) | | Malay Translation | Add Note | BookmarkAs to the Righteous, they will be in the midst of Gardens and Rivers,
(Al-Qamar 54:54) | | Malay Translation | Add Note | BookmarkIn an Assembly of Truth, in the Presence of a Sovereign Omnipotent.
